Before joining First Tryon Advisors, Robert Hobson served as a Managing Director with Wells Fargo Securities for approximately 9 years. Robert has also held investment banking positions with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and The Robinson-Humphrey Company and practiced municipal bond law with a large, North Carolina-based law firm.
Robert received his JD from Wake Forest University School of Law and his BA with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Registered Representative of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds his General Securities Representative License (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent License (Series 63), Municipal Principal License (Series 53) and Municipal Advisor Representative License (Series 50).
